witnesses came around with invites we had not been to meetings.....since last memorial.

wife wanted me to go, "but your taking me to dinner and drinks afterwards ok..." i went.

suit came out of moth balls, alittle snug, need to go to the gym?

I was about ten minutes late this year. I really didn't want to go and drug my but off the couch a little too late. Afterwards I fed everyone a line about poking myself in the eye with a make-up brush and everyone bought it.

The best part is I didn't really miss anything.

BTW I'm always late to the meat-ings; hey I figure every minute late is another minute not listening to their nonsense. I know this really irks my Mom too because she knows I’m punctual and hate being late (to anything that matters, that is).

soooo, i've been sudying the bible with a 10 year old girl for two years now...her mother recently got baptised.

since i've been having doubts about the org i've centered our discussions on god and the bible and less on pleasing the org...i was doing fine.... until i invited an older pioneer sister to accompany me on the study....heeeeeeesh...she changed the topic from having manners to becoming an unbaptised publisher....she went onnnnn and onnnnn about "don't you want to please jehovah and jesus, wouldn't you like to put in a form every month and you do love jehovah and want to tell others about him,right?

" i was so upset.. i treat and love this girl as if she was my little sister and i do not want her to nose dive into this religion...she's a child for god's sake!.

They have a word for what that old biddy did, it's called recruitment, but I've got a few other choice words I'd like to call it....(not here though, that will most likely get me booted).

Passing out invites after the meeting

there was an experience i had at the kingdom hall not to long ago.. my family was hosting a party or some sort.

i had to hand out a couple invites after the meeting.

they were sealed in envelopes.

What you are allowed to do depends on your status; the higher your position the more rules you’re permitted to break.

You do know that if the tables were turned, and she were getting off her lazy arse and having a "get together", she'd be doing the same thing as you and no one would be saying a word because she is a ministerial servant-ette.

BTW: Was she going to be invited? Maybe she was just pissed you were excluding her, and for good reason.

How do you call outside of the hall to complain about an elder or ms ?

what phone number would you call to complain about an ms or elder outside of your hall?

what is the procedure if the you can not turn to the other elders?.

You can try to go elsewhere but believe me, this will backfire BIG TIME. Even if there is a legitimate problem, and by some slim chance anything is actually done about it, they will retaliate hard for going over their heads and will make sure you're put back in your place.

If you're not ready to get DF, let sleeping dogs lie; however, if someone has broken the law then don't go anywhere inside the $ociety, call the police immediately and turn them in. (Criminals do not deserve to be sheltered.)

Let's hope the $ociety doesn't start coating the magazines with this drug; if they do were all screwed.

I don't think this would happen though, it would cost too much. Instead they would crappily drone out some article on how we all need it but it is up to each individuals conscience (pocket book) on whether or not we will accept such a life saving treatment.
